Where that layer holds the slot, the lever is presence on the directory layer. These are the platforms our classifier already carries for this category, so a pool held by one of them is recognised as such rather than counted as a rival brand.
The platform layer in this trade is market-specific in a way most categories are not. What holds the slot in one country is not what holds it in another, and an engine that leans on one platform for a query may lean on a different one a city over. The classifier carries the regional platforms rather than assuming a single home market.
The practical consequence is that a single national answer is the wrong unit. A contractor covering six towns has six separate measurements, and improving in one says nothing about the other five until they are measured.
Where a pool turns out not to be directory-held, the recommendation changes with it. Some trade queries are answered from the businesses' own sites, and those pools are won by a page that declares the category and the service area plainly. The report says which kind each of your pools is; it does not apply one answer to all of them.

01A measurement per service area
Locations are measured separately against their own markets, with the sample size for each. A market with too few runs to say anything says so, rather than showing a confident number built on two answers.
02Regional platforms, not a US-only list
The classifier carries the platforms that actually hold these answers in the UK, Australia, Canada and India alongside the US ones, so a non-US business is measured against the layer its engines read.
03The lever named per pool
Each money query is classified by what holds its answer today, and each classification maps to one lever. You get a specific instruction per pool instead of a general score.
What we will not claim here
- We do not post reviews, solicit reviews, or touch review content on any platform. Review manipulation is the fastest way to lose a listing, and a tool that offers it is selling you a ban.
- We do not claim a lift from a listing change until the confidence intervals separate. Directory changes propagate slowly and unevenly, and calling it early would be guessing.
