AI visibility for professional services firms
The short version. Firm-selection answers run through the directory and ranking sites that specialise in vetting firms, so the lever is presence and accuracy on that layer, in the specific categories you actually want to be chosen for.
The answer slot in this category usually belongs to the best-of layer
- clutch.co
- designrush.com
- goodfirms.co
- themanifest.com
- upcity.com
Where that layer holds the slot, the lever is placement in the best-of lists. These are the platforms our classifier already carries for this category, so a pool held by one of them is recognised as such rather than counted as a rival brand.
Buyers of professional services ask engines to shortlist, and the engines answer from the platforms built to shortlist. Those platforms are structured by category and location, which means being listed is not the same as being findable: being listed in the wrong category is functionally the same as not being listed.
The measurement question that follows is narrower than a visibility score. It is which specific categories you appear in when the engine answers the queries you want to win, and the report is organised that way, one line per money query with the sample behind it.
This category also carries a specific trap. The platforms that hold these slots are aggregators, not competitors, and reporting them as rivals you could beat would send you to fight the layer instead of joining it. They are labelled as aggregators throughout and never enter your competitive field.
What the product actually does here
01Per-query, not per-brand
Each buyer query is measured on its own with its own sample, because a firm can be the obvious answer for one service and invisible for the one next to it.
02Aggregators labelled as aggregators
A directory or ranking site that holds a slot is never reported as a competitor you could displace. Platforms are labelled as platforms.
03Approval before anything leaves
Every outreach message and every published asset is drafted for your approval and carries an immutable hash through it. Nothing is placed on your behalf without a human saying yes.
What we will not claim here
- We do not draft legal, financial or regulated advice content. Drafts carry facts you have verified and stop there.
- We do not report a position for your firm in an AI answer. There is no stable position to report, and a repo-wide test fails our build if that language reaches a customer screen.
One thing to hold on to: none of the above is assumed about you. Your report classifies each of your money queries from your own measured answers, and if it disagrees with this page, the report is right. This page describes what categories like yours have tended to look like, which is a useful prior and a bad conclusion.
The measurement rules behind that are on the methodology page, and the enforcement page names the test behind each one.
