Leads, attribution and alerts
Which leads AI actually sent you, answered three honest ways, plus where to route the news.
Most AI answers open links without a referrer, so the visit lands in analytics as Direct and the credit disappears. Nobody can click-attribute their way out of that, so we answer it in three labeled tiers instead of pretending.
| Tier | What it proves |
|---|---|
| Self-reported | The lead told your own signup form an assistant sent them, joined to the exact questions you were winning that week. |
| Referral clicks | Real AI-referred sessions and conversions from your connected GA4. A minority by nature. |
| Influenced | How your measured presence moved while those leads arrived. Shown as moving together, never sold as cause. |
- 1Drop the survey snippet on your site (copy it from the Leads page). One line, no dependency.
- 2Connect GA4 and Search Console under Integrations for the referral and search lanes.
- 3Push any lead to your connected HubSpot or Salesforce with the evidence attached.
- 4Route alerts to email or Slack, and fan them anywhere else with the Zapier or Make webhook.
Note
Attribution features start on Optimize and need the relevant account connected. Until then the surface says so rather than showing an empty chart that looks like a zero.
