Working with prompts
The pool, the lanes, suggestions from observed demand, and how to spend a prompt budget well.
Prompts are pooled across your whole workspace. Allocation is yours: put depth where the money is.
Adding and retiring
- Add a prompt by hand, generate a set from the brand's vertical, or seed from Search Console queries.
- Archive a prompt to free its pool slot. Archiving is reversible and keeps the history.
- Suggestions come from observed demand: the retrieval queries engines actually issued while answering yours, ranked novel-first.
The lanes
| Lane | What it does |
|---|---|
| Watch | Weekly sweep on every engine in your plan. The default for every prompt. |
| Tripwire | Daily check on the contested quarter, automatic, included on every paid tier. |
| Daily lane | Prompts you pin to daily for the month, sold as packs. |
| Burst | Opened automatically when a change is detected, daily for a week. |
Note
Demand labels next to a prompt are honest about their source: real search volume is labeled search volume, and vendor AI-volume estimates are labeled as vendor estimates, because they are derived from autocomplete data rather than observed AI usage.
