The honesty rules
The numbers we refuse to show, and why each refusal protects you.
Every rule below is enforced in code and covered by a test, not promised in copy. They exist because a tool you trust with strategy cannot sell you one invented number, even once.
- No rank positions for AI answers. Ask twice and the order changes, so any average position was invented.
- No blended visibility score. Named, cited and recommended are separate truths, and a composite hides which one is broken.
- No developer API numbers inside a consumer headline. They are labeled and reported separately.
- No unattended publishing. Drafts by default, live only behind your own two-click confirm.
- No email sent without you. Pitches go from your own mailbox, after your confirm.
- No schema or llms.txt sold as a citation lever. Both are hygiene, and our free generator says so on the tin.
- No fabricated crawler data. The classification is built, the log feed is yours to point at us, and the card says exactly that.
- No failed probe counted as your absence. It shrinks the denominator instead.
- No zero dressed as a dash, and no dash dressed as a zero.
Note
The methodology page carries the full reasoning and the published sampling arithmetic. The enforcement page names the file and the test behind each rule.
